After the success of the smooth cinematic funk on its predecessor, Fantastic Four returned in 1976 and set the controls straight for the heart of the dance floor. Clear and present disco ambitions are put at the forefront on this collection of infectious crowd pleasers. But the group’s control and sophistication is what make the record far more than a simple collection of mindless disco. Sweet soul is present from top to bottom, making this a lost classic of the mid 70s.
